Some very good points made there!

I probably have a slower moving stream than most, but I do wonder how much traffic is 'repeat'.

Maybe I should repeat more of my gems?

I would say, it is relevant to the number of people you follow/following.

I have two twitter accounts. one where i follow 200 odd people and the other with 17. Something posted, say every two hours on the first, will soon disappear in minutes, if not seconds. The one with just seventeen, then I will most likely have repeat, repeat, repeat.

I would also say, when i post some of my stuff, I post for the UK lot and the US lot , and those inbetween

I see Twitter as something you dip in and out of, if you are seeing repeats, maybe a bit too much time looking at the stream ? or is there a balance out there to be found ?
